The lake was introduced to the property in 1938 and boasts an area in excess of 4 acres, ranging in depth from approximately 3 feet at one end up to 9 feet at the other.

The water is constantly stream fed at the southern end, with a regulated water gate outlet at the northern end. There are two small islands to the west side of the lake, these are both for the exclusive use of the wildlife.

In late 2008 we cleared and restocked the lake. The following videos show the process and the efforts of Rob and his team of merry helpers. Thanks to everyone who gave their time and energy - enjoy.
